The coat and towel holder have a flexible rubber part which is fixed within a clear anodized aluminum surround and has a low load release threshold. Made from a low shore rating rubber with a big silicone content and fixed by 2 security screws that pass through both the surround and the rubber. Hook is designed to take the weight of a coat or towel - any additional pressure causes the hook to release and remove risk of ligature attachment or harm.
