Alarm Lock Electric deadbolt-Fail Safe, 24VDC or 24VAC
AlarmLock 103 Electric Deadbolt Lock (24V, Fail-Safe) Surface Mount Powered Fail-Safe, Aluminum
The AlarmLock-103 is a 24V Electric Deadbolt.
The 103 is a fail safe deadbolt because it only engages the lock when the power is on. When the power is interrupted, the deadbolt retracts. The lock can be triggered using a remote switch, a key switch, a time prgrammer, and any other electrical contact that is able to interrupt power to the deadbolt.
The compact design makes the unit perfect for installing on narrow stile doors.
A/C/DC Alarm Lock 103 Fail-Safe. From the producer: Compact electric locks that are easy to install on all types of doors are the Models 103 & 104RA. A remote switch, key switch, timer, or other electrical contact that cuts the power can lock or unlock the door. Our conventional failsafe device, Model 103, only projects the bolt when the power is on. The bolt retracts when the electricity is turned off. In contrast to our normal unit, the Model 104RA (reverse action) is "fail-secure" and will only project the bolt when the power is "off." The bolt retracts when the power is turned on.
All PG10, PG21/E, PG30, 250, 700, 80, 260, 710, and 715 models are compatible with this item.
In the case of a power outage or deliberate cutoff, the PP100 preserves the battery, which takes over as the power source to sound the alarm. Troublesome fuse replacements are eliminated with an integrated circuit breaker with a reset button.
Contains a cam lock cylinder and six pieces of armored cable enough to create a door loop on the door's hinged side. Suitable for all 6V and 9V versions.
