The Arrow Lock MK31BD-3 Communicating Knob Lock is great for commercial applications that require accessibility certifications, but not necessarily any heavy duty hardware, like a storeroom setting. In terms of operation,it has a dead-locking latch bolt operated by the knob from either side. By turning the key in either knob, you can lock or unlock each knob independently. Note: do not use on doors in rooms that have no other entrance.
