Simplex Mechanical Pushbutton Locks eliminate problems and costs associated with issuing, controlling, and collecting keys and cards.
The Simplex 1000 Series provides exterior access by combination, while allowing free egress. This mechanical lock, with knob option, elimates the material and labor expense of battery replacements, has a single-code and is programmed via the keypad without removing the lock from the door.
Access Control: Mechanical pushbutton lock eliminates problems and costs associated with issuing, controlling, and collecting keys and cards. Provides exterior access by combination, while allowing free egress.
No Battery: Fully mechanical lock eliminates the material and labor expense of battery replacements.
Locking Device: Cylindrical latch with 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating on "A" labeled doors.
Number of Codes: Single access code - one easy-to-manage code for all users.
Programming: Lock is easily programmed via keypad without removing lock from the door.
Handing: Factory-handed for left-hand doors; easily field reversible.
Economical: A cost effective access control solution.
Passage Mode (1031 & 1041) - allows access without using the lock entry mode. Feature activated from the inside with a thumbturn or key (included with all passage feature models).
Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2-1/4".
Strike: T-Strike plate, ASA strike plate. DB strike box.
Backset: 2-3/4" backset.
Finish: Brass (US3), Antique Brass (US5) & Satin Chrome 26D (626).
Key Override (Optional): Key Override models (1021 & 1041) accept removable core cylinders.

Operation Modes:
- 1011 - Combination Entry, No Key Override.
- 1021 - Combination Entry with Key Override. Choose Keyway: Schlage (1021S), Best (1021B), Corbin Russwin (1021C), Sargent (1021R), and Medeco-Yale (1021M).
- 1031 - Combination Entry with Passage Mode Capability, No Key Override. Passage Mode: Access by combination or passage feature. Passage Feature controlled by either thumbturn or key cylinder, packed with both. The 1031 Model has no key override.
- 1041 - Combination Entry with Key Override & Passage Mode Capability. Choose Keyway: Schlage (1041S), Best (1041B), Corbin Russwin (1041C), Sargent (1041R), and Medeco-Yale (1041M). Passage Mode: Allows access without using the lock entry code, keeping the door unlocked even while closed. This feature is activated from the inside with a thumbturn or key.
