This is the gap between the door and frame that reveals the opening. These hinges are a game-changer when it comes to designing your secret spaces. Add trim, molding or decorative applied materials to accentuate your space and hide your door. The SOSS Wrap-Around Hinges will only be revealed when the door is opened. These hinges are also the only SOSS Hinges designed to open to only 92 degrees
*All 500 series hinges are supplied with the proper size wood and machine screws. It is necessary to install the hinge into the door while the hinge is in the closed position. This is accomplished by first using smaller screws that pass clear through the larger holes in the “jamb” half of the hinge to secure into the thinner “door” half of the hinge. Install the screws completely. Then open the hinge to install it into the jamb. Seat the hinges into the deep mortises made in the jamb and use the larger screws to secure them.
